2025 National Championships – Mt Buller

Club MUD had a strong presence at this year’s National Championships, with 29 riders competing across various age categories.

It’s safe to say the conditions were dusty,  and the track was blown out (or cooked!)

but that didn’t stop the smiles or the great racing!

We had some fantastic results across the board:

🔹 Under 15 Women

• Clare Matthews – 5th (and her first crash-free race, for a while!)

🔹 Under 17 Men

• Tamas Spokevicius – 6th ( just 0.5 seconds off the podium!)

🔹 Under 19 Women

• Amelia Freeman – Bronze (Go Meals!)

  

• Quinn Moore – 5th

🔹 Masters 5 Men

• Danny Taugge – Bronze (Go Danny, Go Danny)

🔹 Expert Men

• Alex Ferguson – Silver (Woo hoo, Pres!)

  

🔹 Elite Men - 2 in the top 20

• Tom Young – 12th

• Darcy Coutts - 19th

A huge congrats to all our riders for their efforts.

We were fortunate to have many of our members and friends stay at the USC Ski Lodge, thanks to the generosity of Michelle Delaney. The lodge provided the perfect setting for a weekend filled with good company and plenty of laughs.

On Friday night, the club hosted a BBQ, bringing everyone together for a fantastic evening—great food, great vibes, and a great start to the weekend!
